Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
The Learning Levels of GRIT .N.Y. Education are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) which has become an international standard for describing language ability. It describes language ability on a six-point scale, from A1 for beginners, up to C2 for those who have mastered a language
why we should master English?
Being able to communicate in English is a kind of skill, and it is a valuable personal asset. It helps us connect with the international world and helps us with our careers. That’s why we should master English.
There are four success keys to mastering English:
- Learning Goal.
People in general have the same goals in learning English. The main goals are to be able to communicate with other people from all over the world and to have a good career. - Learning Commitment.
Having English skills is not what we want, but it is what we need for our future. As it is a need, you must have a strong commitment to do the learning process. - Environment.
The best way to learn English is living in English-speaking countries such as the UK and the USA. This way is not an easy thing for many people. Instead of taking this way, we must create our own English environment at our school and in our neighborhood. - Learning Resource.
Learning resources like English modules, videos, audio, etc. help us reach our goal in learning English. Good learning resources make it easy for us to master English.
